About

Our alchemical team

Zack Petroc, creator and director of Adaboy, is six feet of artistic ambition, conditioned too in the rare art of paternal patience as he does battle daily with the blood-curdling cries and baby-food burp attacks of his terrifyingly lovable brood. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sculpture (and dual minors in drawing and digital media) from Cleveland’s notoriously primeval Institute of Art. He has worked as Art Director and Concept Designer on several feature films and video games and is currently Model Supervisor at Disney Animation.

Kevin Tasker, co-writer of Adaboy, is a ribald, royally-pale scribe with brambled facial hair and enormous black-rimmed spectacles. He has/is attending three institutions of higher learning including Ohio University where he was, for a short while, the fiction editor of their undergraduate literary journal, Sphere Magazine. He is principally a novelist and short story writer, though he has penned several plays including a stage play adaptation of William Faulkner’s seminal As I Lay Dying. Adaboy is his first foray into the enigmatic and alluring realm of graphic novels.

Tiffany Petroc, the Adaboy team’s Principle Alchemist Gregor, is an anomalous blend of ravishing beauty and intellect. She holds both an undergraduate and Master’s degree from Case Western University in Chemical Engineering. She was a member of Jack Welch’s elite Six Sigma Black Belt Program task force at GE. She currently combs her vast recesses of chemical knowledge to help us develop world logic, bringing a sense of scientific realism to the Adaboy universe.

Zack Petroc Studios

With a commitment to driving the digital entertainment industry forward, Zack Petroc continues to develop new techniques that redefine how digital tools impact the art and design of story telling. In 2005 he opened Zack Petroc Studios to focus on the development of unique new content and one of a kind training tools. The Studios’ first independent project Adaboy gives viewers direct access to behind the scenes story development techniques, allowing them to follow along as it evolves from concept to completed project. Additionally, his studio has worked on the development of several feature films and video games with a recent client list that includes Disney Interactive, Scott Free Productions, SCEA, Walt Disney Imagineering, Snoot Entertainment, Hasbro, and Paramount Pictures.

Currently he enjoys spending his days as Model Supervisor at Walt Disney Animation Studios, interacting with some of the most talented artists in the industry.
